  2. Sabre world cup tomorrow, which marks Egorian's return to international competition after nearly two years. All action will be livestreamed on FIE website. @phelps, Italians won four medals in the foil world cups today, including a gold by Volpi.
  3. Expected decision on the one hand, but nonetheless a ridiculous and embarassing one for many reasons. If Walsh/Michaud plan to continue skating together, I hope they will seriously consider switching citizenship and go somewhere they are respected and appreciated.
  4. Marco Zandron has been granted spanish citizenship and is therefore eligible to skate in the olympics.
  6. Ice dance- free dance Free dance was full of drama. Leaders after rhythm dance, Sinitsina/Katsalapov withdrew from free dance. In their absence, Stepanova/Bukin won the title comfortably, ahead of Davis/Smolkin. Khudaiberdieva/Bazin were third, despite not skating in the last group. They just overtook Morozov/Bagin by 0.10 points. Both these teams expressed complaints about their scores afterwards. Bazin said ''We wanted at least to have a chance to fight for an olympic spot. We trained, but we had this chance taken away from us. I will not say by whom.'' Morozov said ''We skated well today, probably it was our best skate of the season. Points and place, I will not make any comment.'' Zagorski/Guerreiro dropped to 8th. Zagorski gave everything, but struggled a lot physically. She had a fall and just managed to complete the program. She had serious breathing problems afterwards and wasn't present when their score was announced. Semenenko dropped from 1st after short program to 4th in total score, while Mozalev climbed five places from 8th to 3rd. Yuzuru Hanyu scored 111.38 points for first, followed by Shoma Uno, who scored 101.88. Hanyu said he will try a quad axel in his free skate.
  7. I think it's B. ''Move like Jagger''.
  8. If you want me to help, I think I know it.
  9. Russian championships started today in St Petersburg. Scores are a bit, or a lot, inflated, as most of the times in nationals. The ranking order is what it matters the most. Tomorrow, free dance and men's free skate will be contested, as well as women's short program. Men's short program Top 8 Full results - Men - Short Program Men_SP_Scores Ice dance- rhythm dance Davis/Smolkin have the upper hand for third. They are ahead of Zagorski/Guerreiro, Morozov/Bagin and Khudaiberdieva/Bazin. These three teams are sperated by less than 1.5 points. For those who don't know Davis is Tutberidze's daughter. When she was younger, she suffered from third degree hearing loss, which means severe hearing impairment. She has said that nowdays her hearing has been cured. Zagorski had some serious health issues recently and this is the first time, she and Guerreiro compete this season. Crowd in the stadium were unhappy with their score and reacted with boos. 12. Draw for the world championships is done. Competition at Alexandra Palace begins on 15 December until 3 January, when the final will be contested. 2022 PDC World Darts Championship: Defending champion Gerwyn Price could face Fallon Sherrock
  13. It's also the biggest victory in history of european world cup qualifiers. Belgium's 19-0 win over Armenia on Thursday, didn't last long.
  14. Palmeiras beat Flamengo 2-1, to win CONMEBOL Libertadores for a second consecutive season, for a second time in 2021 and for a third time in their history.
  15. Fencing's spot in the olympics is and will be safe, for as long as IOC president is an olympic fencing champion, as he likes calling himself. Which means that there isn't any chance fencing is removed, at least not for the next two or three olympics.
  16. In women's world cup qualifiers. On Thursday, Belgium-Armenia 19-0, which has to be the biggest win ever in european world cup qualifiers. I think the previous record was 17-0, which had happened three times. Belgium was leading 11-0 at halftime and despite the score was ''just'' 13-0 at the 78th minute, it ended with six more goals for Belgium. Italian women struggled against Switzerland, just like their male colleagues. They lost 1-2 at home and Switzerland now has the advantage, in the battle for first place in the group.
  17. Congratulations to @Hipooo and Czech Republic for their deserved win. Tough luck for @Wanderer and New Zealand, but both countries offered us an exciting battle, so congratulations to them as well. A big thank you to @Dnl for hosting, in the end it was an amazing contest, despite all the difficulties that occured. A big thank you to everyone who voted our song, I'm glad you liked it. I can't say I'm surprised by our 29th place finish, it is more or less what I expected. I mean that, after listening all the songs and judging objectively, I would put our song somewhere around 30th place. Now, time to reveal how I voted. 1. Ireland 2. France 3. Poland 4. Croatia 5. Ukraine 6. Germany 7. Czech Republic 8. Canada 9. Moldova 10. New Zealand 11. Brazil 12. Argentina Some interesting notes. I voted for both Czech Republic and New Zealand, though I didn't rank them as high as they finished. None of the two made Greece's combined top 12. Same for France, who received 11 points from me, but were left out from our combined top 12. I didn't give any points to 7 of 12 countries that made our combined top 12, including Sweden, who got our 12 points. However, all my top 5 songs were in the combined top 12, except France. From the five countries I voted and made Greece's combined top 12, we gave the most points to Canada, who in my ranking, was the lowest ranked of that five countries.
  18. DR Congo will probably lose their spot, due to this.

  20. Bronze medal match Hungary - Italy 12-10 Final Greece - Spain 5-10 Congratulations to Spain who are world champions! They absoloutely deserved this title, today they played another flawless match after their excellent performance in their quarterfinal and semifinal. Our girls tried but they couldn't find many solutions to beat the spanish defence. However, it was a great tournament for us. Today, our team was just outplayed, no shame for that, we are grateful for what our girls achieved. This is the second time Spain wins this title and the fifth medal they take. For Greece it is our second silver medal and fourth medal in total. Hungary won the bronze medal against Italy. This match was very tight, the score was tied at the end of each of the first three quarters and all the difference was made in the fourth. In the other matches, Russia finished in fifth place after demolishing the Netherlands 19-8. Dutch were just one goal down at half time at 7-8, but then Russia scored 10 consecutive goals to make the score 7-18 in the middle of the fourth quarter. Israel ended their great run in seventh place beating Serbia on penalties. Israel's women's team should improve a lot in the next few years, many of their players looked promising in this competition.
  21. Results of semifinal matches. Greece - Hungary 13-8 Italy - Spain 12-14 World championship concludes tomorrow. Bronze medal match will be Hungary - Italy and the final will be Greece - Spain. This will be the third final ever for Greece in this competition and the fourth for Spain. Both have won one of their previous finals.
  22. Results of quarterfinal matches. Greece - Serbia 18-5 Netherlands - Hungary 12-13 Israel - Italy 9-15 Russia - Spain 5-10 That means Russia won't win the title for a third time in a row, as they had won the two previous editions. Spain ran a four-goal streak from 2-2 to 2-6 and controlled the game afterwards. In the other exciting quarterfinal, Hungary took the win, despite being 2-6 down at the beginning of the second quarter and Netherlands holding a 7-9 lead at halftime. Semifinals are scheduled for tomorrow. Greece - Hungary Italy - Spain
  23. Quarterfinals tomorrow and below are the matches. Greece - Serbia Netherlands - Hungary Israel - Italy Russia - Spain Winners from the first two matches will face each other in the first semifinal, as will the other two winners in the second semifinal.
  24. Looking further ahead in the tournament, Greece-Italy match wasn't really important as both teams are higly unlikely to be left out of the semifinals, because of the very badly imbalanced draw. To explain this, barring a huge surprise, these two teams will end up first and second in the group. Winner of the group will qualify directly in the quarterfinals, while second placed team will need to play a knockout match against the third team of group B to get their spot. This team will most likely be France and both Greece and Italy should be able to beat them. Then, in quarterfinals teams from our group, will probably meet the top two teams from group C or the top team of group C and the third team of Group D. With all respect to the teams in it, Group C is by far the weakest in this tournament. That means, it will be very surprising if Greece and Italy don't make it to the semifinals, regardless of the order they finish in their group.
