I feel the top 15 are very similar and so are the top 2 .................can we just outline 5 Gold hopes and mark G against them and if they get G then we get extra 5 points we do not need to have silver ( S ) and bronze ( B) marks , the other points still stand ................. ? This may make a lot of difference for example while I hope the Narsing may medal I do not feel he may get a gold while Jitu in the 10 m may both medal and get gold ??? since we do not mark any silvers the case above would not happen we want all of them to go for gold now it is a true fantasy game ( India with 5 golds at the olympics ) ....................

As it is a prediction contest................ we could also add +5 points where your prediction matches with the result ? , for example if I gave sania a silver and she gets a silver my team gets an additional 5 points ? do you feel this will make it more interesting and also allow a better points distribution ?...maybe we can only give G or S or B ( no 4th or top 8 ) ........................ as we are hoping all of them medal ...

Today also in the mens high jump we had three atheletes at 2.17 so decent attempt .................again no olympic quota chance

also kirpal did a great 59.64 in the mens discus ................he is a good second to the Vikas gowda .....if he improves a couple of meters he can be an asian threat no chance of olympics quota though..............

Good outing at the ISSF world cup Baku - We have a record number of finalists - 9 Finalists Man Singh - Skeet - ( 6th ) Sanjeev Rajput - 50m 3 positions - SILVER Gagan - 50 M prone - ( 7th ) Heena - 25M pistol - ( 8th ) Jitu - 10 M pistol - SILVER Gagn -10 M air rifle - 6th Abhinav - 10 M air rifle- 7th Kynan - Trap - 6th Pooja - 10 M Air Rifle - 4th Suprsing was Heena in the 25 M , she has never done well in the 25 M pistol , also for Man I think the first world cup final , shows that Skeet is on a role , Kynans was also a fine performance he was leading most of the time in the event , welcfome return to form in the 10 M for gagan ............so overall a good outing

@kapil857 I did fill in my sheet on the prediction competition but it is looking almost the same 15 for everyone ...it would be good if we add G, S, B to the 15 names and then give 2 points for correct medal and 1 point if your person medals ........ and also reduce the list to top 10 so that people are forced to make more choices as of now it seems to have nearly all possible medallists

I complete agree with you vivek ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, A sport cannot be measured only by medals at the olympics .................. for example many of the athletes who have qualified have broken the A mark may not win in the olympics but they will be formidable at the asian games, so when the commonwealth games or asian games comes it will matter and they will raise indian pride ..........., even if Dipa for example may not win a medal ...her life story is inspiring to me and for all gymnasts - My daughter is a gymnast at the district level - I showed her dipas video to inspire her .................... I think interest in sports goes up with each quota achieved ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I think if we achieve 120 quota it is a huge step forward for indian sports ..................... Yes medals do matter and I feel we will be able to do better than London because with 120 we will have a greater number ( as a quality management specialist we have in quality something called lead indicators - the first signs of problems or achievements ......... 120 quota places is a lead indicator which will lead to greater achievements in terms of medals )
