They seem to have cherry picked the events we have hopes in except womens discus and mens 800 ...little surprising they dropped those two - Krishna has been doing well and can i believe achieve the mark ....Jinson has been improving and is close ?.......otherwise all of the events which we can hope to qualify are there I believe

Great to see India hit its maiden century in quota places ...our previous maximum was 83 in London ............................ and the good news is we still have 10 sure fire quotas and at least 5-6 hopefuls .............

thanks dolby ................ very clear as usual .................... did we have any women swimmers at the world championships at kazan ? last time I remember the issue was this Viradhwal, Sandeep, Aaron and Sangvekar were ineligible to be considered for 'Universality' quota even though they had crossed the Olympic Selection Timing (OST). Their OST qualification rather made them ineligible for being considered under 'Universality' quota. hence Gagan who had competed in the World championships in the 800m but did not reach the OST was considered ................. Is this going to be the case this time ? The other point is there is a limit of 2 per event for countries in each event so I am not sure how many such swimmers are eligible under OST ( after removing the swimmers whose countries have already reached the limit ) is there any such list ?

Thats an awesome time ...........with nirmala trained and in sync with them I am sure they can go even faster ...................would be great if they can beat 3.29........ that may be enough to get them to the finals at Rio ....................... also I think without a doubt now they will be at Rio as this will take them to the 12th position .............

i had suggested that we have 5 golds along with captain and vice captain ( if any of these 5 ................ and as many of these 5 get a gold we get 5 points for each gold )
