It depends on the composition of groups. Germany and Hungary will be 4th seeds and given the groups will be arranged to guarantee an African nation to qualify they won't face them. They will likely have to defeat one of to qualify.

I like this multisport games. It's a good balance of allowing weaker nations a chance to shine and enough strong nations (Mexico, Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela) to make it somewhat competitive.

Shooting is one of those sports that's lucky it got in during the early days of the Olympics. It definitely would not be added as a new sport today. In discussions about esports being in the Olympics I've used shooting as an example of a sport that's less physical being in the Olympics. In fact, esports and shooting have a lot of common, they are both precision sports that focus on twitch muscles. Funny enough, there is always someone that tries and argue the physicality of shooting and throws in "but tradition" for good measure.

I believe they can qualify, but must meet certain criteria. I am not sure if Egorova meets that criteria. World Aquatics will probably publish a list later on who is eligible. I'd like to wait until someone wins a quota in a direct qualifier to remove all doubt, but I do acknowledge that Egorova may be the first qualifier.
