Before pouting nonsense on Netanyahu, please answer how many Palestinians have been taken by the Arab nations and Turkey so far. Can you elaborate on Black September as well

It was never a priority to stop the war but to prolong it to offload the old weapons systems and keep Russia occupied in a conflict. But the West's strategy backfired as it pushed Russia to friendship with China. Many don't realize as Russia and China are actually adversaries even when they shared a common ideology during the Soviet era

Siddhartha Talukdar got a reaction from Prashanth in India at 2024 Paris Olympics
Hi, @Prashanth, @Prakash, @Roamingrover86, @Fly_like_a_don, @nitinsanker, @tirtha22, @sounak , @Indian Sports fan
We had a successful Paralympics where we finished in top 20 in either Olympics or Paralympics ever. So I have compiled points table based on Top 6 performance in each event where 1st place gets 10 points, 2nd gets 7 pts, 3rd gets 5, 4th gets 3, 5th gets 2,6th gets 1, .
There is also number of participants per country in each event listed which is named 'Quota'. Qualified but non-participation is not included in Quota.
'Top 6' is the number of events a country finished in Top 6. Thus Conversion = Top 6 / Quota which implies Contingent quality.
I have also introduced a term called 'Normalized Points' which is Points / (Number of events in that sport). For example, if a country wins just 1 Gold in Archery, they will get 10 points but 10 points/ 9 events = 1.11 Normalized Points. This metric will be high for countries who earn points in multiple sports.
'Sport' can be defined as set of events governed by same federation
Salient Observations for India
1) India is 22h ranked in quotas earned and 17th in Points and 20th in Normalized Points which means its a par performance by the contingent
3) In Asia, India is 5th in terms of points ( , , , )
Please give your opinions and feedback on this

No quotas basically means maximum number of placings possible in an event. So for example, Ireland participated in Men's Hockey there were 16 athletes but just 1 quota as the team can have just 1 placing

'Normalized Points' = Points / (Number of events in that sport). For example, if a country wins just 1 Gold in Archery, they will get 10 points but 10 points/ 5 events = 2 Normalized Points. This metric will be high for countries who earn points in multiple sports.
Aquatics events has been divided into sports like 'Artistic Swimming', 'Swimming', 'Water Polo' and 'Diving' otherwise 'Sport' can be defined as set of events governed by same federation
