    Just caught up on fencing finals and as someone who last watched fencing three years ago i will definitly be watching the final sessions live now, that was really good!

    Overall though day one is a success i think, i think we all expected 1 medal so we exceeded that, just a shame it genuinly could have been 3. Canoeists/rowing....tennis 😅 all survived/made progress, eventing team has a solid lead as well as being in the individual mix Gymnastics sounds good although i havnt watched it, peaty goes in to tomorrow as a marginal favourite, hockey guys looked set to make a run

    sat here with my British tinted glasses and my British hat on, i honestly (watched it without commentary) i can't see how we lost that boxing match, she bossed it, all the highlight punches were hers, controlled the ring, dunno what else she had to do other than sparking her out
