    Rip Canada lost its third 4 man sled, due to Covid essentially... though moving forward, I think the 4 man event should be limited to 2 sleds per NOC, which would essentially allow two more countries to compete.

    Addis Ababa, Moscow, Milan, Istanbul, Doha, Abu Dhabi, Zurich, Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt and Seoul also have approved flights into Beijing. FWIW, the COC was investigating a private charter... not sure if that is the case still.

    Fingers crossed... or hope a country declines. Ibsf is also the only IF which refuses to reallocate any unused athlete spots... basically this will leave 4 or so quotas unused. If they wanted to grow this discipline... they'd reallocate these spots to the monobob

    I predict some time after Beijing 2022, likely June 2022 during the executive board meeting, that SLC/Sapporo will be awarded 2030/2034 together.

    and I think the FIS wanted to add the Aerials mixed team event to encourage more nations to take up the discipline, and clearly it has not helped.
