  4. This should be the last games with Ski Cross having that limit. FIS is in the process of moving it under the alpine banner (which in theory means they can send as much as they want)

  7. Netherlands accepted both quotas !?! @heywoodu
  8. Ibu gave the men two extra quotas... trolling the Ioc
  9. decline two women's ski cross quotas.
  10. becomes the first country to decline a quota (its only one, a men's). is next in line and we are down to 57 countries in cross country
  11. Fingers crossed to get at least one more male athlete for Canada (wishlist is one 10 total, 5 per gender)
  12. is first country to decline a quota (it declined one of its two male quotas). Next country in line is
  13. Absolutely ridiculous. The men are allowed to be in the top 60 but the women top 45 only? What kind of gender equality is this? I feel really bad for the athlete. Always being screwed by her governing body. @Olympian1010
  14. will decline their women's quota (I believe she suffered a career ending injury in 2020)
  15. Is the Shangai Grand Prix a part of the World CUp?
  16. I meant retaliation as in like a blanket ban on Australians. The IOC has already warned Serbia (for refusing entry to the Kosovo team for some event) and it might lead to loss of future hosting rights/suspension.
  17. I wonder if this Canada's first ever individual medal?
  18. Although this was a complete shit show... I doubt Serbia will retaliate. They are already on thin ice with the IOC
  19. She is, as she was part of Canada's junior team and switched.
  20. lol makes 0 sense... and the FIS has not been including people with less than 5 results on their tracker.... so I think he has 0 chance. However, in 2014, and were given quotas even though they didn't hit the intended 140 points or less (they were both just outside), so who knows. went onto decline that quota ofc.
  21. How likely is to decline its quota? If so, would again be the first reserve for another event!!
  22. She is American and opted to compete for Brazil (probably due to the fact it would be easier for her to qualify).
  23. Definitely not that. The IOC waived any waiting time for him back in July 2021. https://olympics.com/ioc/news/ioc-eb-approves-athlete-changes-of-nationality-for-beijing-2022
