  1. Well as with gymnastics, even the best can fail at times. Still any diver in the top 30,as of now, are still with good chances to qualify. I don't know if you remember, but that's how Greece ended up with the gold in 3m synchro men's at the 2004 Olympics.
  2. Well this is probably the hardest event for a diver... you need enough power to go as high as you can and complete the turns and twists in time to hit the water in a vertical position. You won't see many notes beyond 8.5 even from the Chinese.
  3. On what seems like great news for Great Britain and Canada, North Korea didn't enter its divers... that means a good chance for either team in women's 10m synchro, with China and Malaysia.
  4. Well, today only 1m prelims in both genders... only top twelve advance to final.
  5. Luminosa BOGLIOLO 12.79 Women's 100m hurdles
  6. Alison SANTOS 48.57 Men's 400m hurdles Sokwakhana ZAZINI 48.73 Men's 400m hurdles
  7. Alison Santos wins men's 400m hurdles with the season's 5th best time 48.57 and is going to Tokyo @vinipereira Sokwakhana Zazini gets silver and ALSO qualifies for Tokyo Games with 48.73
  8. As long as they're not as cheap as those from Guadalajara
  9. CONCACAF's qualification format confirmed. Top 6 teams in FIFA's ranking by June 20, 2020 will contest the Hexagonal round. Top 3 qualify to the World Cup. The other 29 teams will contest a separate qualification round: Round one: 8 round robin groups, 5 groups of four teams and the rest with 3 teams. Group winners advance to two legged knockouts, until a winner is defined. Winner of the knock out round will face Hex's 4th place to advance to the Intercontinental playoffs.
  10. Valente Mendoza won gold in 400m What a sprint in the last 50 meters...
  11. Ayomide FOLORUNSO 54.75 Women's 400m hurdles
  12. According to the summons for the event, it was decided to cut the lighter and heavier categories due to lack of accomodation. It would have been better to axe the team poomsae.
  13. The winner qualified for Tokyo
  14. Paola Moran won gold in 400m
  15. Entry lists by country and name If I'm not mistaken, India's going to make its debut in this discipline
  16. Updated as of July 10th, 2019
  17. Not yet, sorry. Still some names missing.
  18. USA named its athletes in rhythmic & trampoline gymnastics No Laura Zeng What do you think @thiago_simoes? Is there any chance for other gymnasts to end up in the podium?
  19. Well, at least on their last games the male "Snakes" were able to play as they should during the whole tournament. Good enough for a spot in Olympic qualification tournament.
  20. } Yes, that's one of those idiot rules in Poomsae. Congrats for both medals
  21. Well for some people Austria and Australia are the same country.
  22. & will go to the Qualification tournament
  23. Great results for Mexico at Vall Nord... Ulloa finished sixth, his best result in the World Cup series so far. But better yet, Daniela Campuzano was just shy 7 seconds from a bronze. I think she's the heavy favorite for Lima
  24. Mexico won both events today in diving. Good performances, although none to challenge for a medal at World Champs. Still, congratulations to Ma Jin's squad (that's the name of a chinese coach working in Mexico for at least 12 years)
