  1. GUATEMALA 144 competitors, 72 men & 72 women (06 AR | 09 AS | 07 AT | 08 BD | 01 BP | 04 BV | 02 BB | 04 BW | 01 BX | 02 CF | 02 CB | 01 CM | 04 CR/CT | 10 EQ | 04 GO | 02 GA | 02 JU | 02 KA | 05 MP | 04 RA | 02 RO | 07 SA | 17 SH | 03 SS | 03 SQ | 08 SW | 04 TT | 06 TK | 04 TE | 03 TR | 06 WL | 01 WR) Flagbearer: Jorge VEGA - Artistic Gymnastics @vinipereira Curiously, they rejected three quotas in shooting, two in equestrian, and women's table tennis. Any news about this last one @intoronto
  2. And as soon as they publish the list, Dellien declares he will not compete at Lima @intoronto do you know if Bolivia keeps the place or is going to be reallocated?
  3. BOLIVIA 45 competitors, 27 men & 18 women (02 AT | 03 AR | 01 BD | 01 BP | 02 BB | 01 CS | 01 CB | 02 EQ | 02 GA | 02 GO | 01 KA | 04 MP | 07 RA | 07 SH | 04 SW | 04 TE | 01 TR) Flagbearer: Conrado MOSCOSO - Racquetball @vinipereira It seems Bolivia wants to medal in another sport besides Racquetball (they will be favorites for gold in men's events) as Hugo Dellien will also enter the tennis tournament.
  4. URUGUAY 145 competitors, 103 men & 42 women (04 AT | 12 BK | 04 B3 | 06 BP | 02 BV | 02 BB | 01 BX | 04 CF | 02 CR/CT | 10 EQ | 16 HO | 18 FB | 04 GO | 02 GA | 01 JU | 02 KA | 03 MP | 10 RO | 12 RU | 09 SA | 05 SH | 01 SK | 02 SU | 05 SW | 01 TK | 03 TE | 01 TR | 03 WL) Flagbearer: Julieta MAUTONE - Shooting @vinipereira Edited Monday at 19:24 by mrv86
  5. @thiago_simoes a Brazilian gymnast is leading the all around, with very decent scores.
  6. US diving team A very decent men's team, tough not their best, it will be a close battle with Mexico and Canada in men's synchro events, although I favor the later in the 3m springboard. Hixon has some chances for individual springboard, though it will be a close call in the 3m event with Colombia's Villa also trying to end up there if either Castillo or Imbeau Dulac fail (which they most usually do). Steele Johnson might do well on the platform, especially if Iván García is not having his best day. For women, I'm sure they will medal in the synchro events,as there is no other entrant close to their level, but there will bea sizable difference with Mexico and even bigger with Canada.
  7. No Elsa Garcia, as she injured herself again. I'd just wish she realized it's time for her to let others have their time. Hope the reserve gymnast is Esparza.
  8. No, it's not pessimistic is the hard reality of 6 years of poor planning and continuity followed by 6 months of even bigger robbery of the new "leftist" administration. Just read my last post in the fencing thread... that poor girl was falsely accused of doping, then every tribunal and sports authority didn't back her claims, which were even supported by evidence from a lab in Germany. The only representative in Congress that has raised his voice to question the recent scandals in our swimming fed has been threatened by FINA itself due to "interference" and the president is trying to split our best synchro pair. Our "best" race walker was caught doping and their defense was all fabricated, and there isn't any other athlete that has real chances to medal. Pro Clubs in the Mexican Football League couldn't bother to let the best U23 players to attend Pan Am Games, because they're more concerned with the box office of a secondary pityful tournament. Tae Kwon Do federation is under the radar of the government because it has been fabricating receipts to cover their expenses. Archery federation dismissed their Korean archers, and look at the disaster at World Championships. So it's a bleak picture what lies ahead.
  9. Between 0 and a reallocation in weightlifting in the future. Longshot, a bronze in tae kwon do.
  10. A sad day for Mexican fencing, but a happy one for Uzbekistan According to Mexican press, Paola Pliego will start competing for Uzbekistan, thanks to a direct invitation from Usmanov himself. I will root for her always, cause she's the best senior fencer this country has produced, and in return, she got falsely accused from doping in a personal vendetta of the crook that runs fencing in Mexico.
  11. You're right
  12. List of designated flagbearers: Javier Conte - Sailing Felipe Miranda - Water Ski Roberto Hernandez - Archery Franklin Gomez - Wrestling
  13. EL SALVADOR 56 competitors, 30 men & 26 women (03 AR | 02 AS | 01 AT | 02 BD | 01 BP | 04 BV | 02 BB | 04 BW | 02 BX | 02 GA | 01 JU | 01 RO | 01 SA | 09 SH | 02 SS | 03 SQ | 03 SU | 05 SW | 03 TE | 01 TR | 03 WL | 01 WR) @vinipereira
  14. Sorry about that, Entry lists for Artistic are now available
  15. For rhythmic gymnastics, here For artistic, not yet although it may be out tomorrow. All I know is Fabian De Luna is going to compete for Mexico
  16. Pan Am Games Torch Lighting Tomorrow at 11:00 am GMT-5
  17. My city looking like the day after tomorrow. Thankfully and it is now confirmed, only material damages. Still, many of those people are low income families, so they'll need help from the rest of us.
  18. I know,,, I guess most people was already sleeping during the heaviest part of the storm, so that helped a bit.
  19. Last night, there was a heavy storm that buried the southern part of Guadalajara Metropolitan in 1.5 m of hail Thankfully, no casualties or severe injuries were reported.
  20. I was hopeful the Polish team could pull and upset after round 1... great that at this in this qualifier things went down up until the final rider, unlike yesterday. Still, the riders from former USSR were quite sad to watch... I felt so sorry for those poor horses, especially the 2nd Kyrgyz rider who just made the poor horse crash directly into an obstacle.
  21. You should be happy as likely Brazil gets 12 more spots at the PanAm and a chance for Olympic qualification.
  22. It seems that the link has been changed. The important thing is that Jamaica is aiming for a top 10 finish at the medal tally of the Games (and they might displace Peru or Chile out) They're bringing their A team in athletics
  23. Please can someone tell the reporter there's no 400m butterfly evet
  24. Wow, I'm shocked by your volley pairs, never heard of them
