  1. still has a chance . If they win their playoff match v they will qualify for WC next year.
  2. I think instead of allocating 2 spots here (for Americas) WBSC should have allowed 3 spots (rather than 2) in the 2027 WBSC premiere. ( 1 each for Asia, Europe & Americas) That way it would have ensured two things : ONLY the top team from Americas gets the quota here ( deservedly so) additionally it would have allowed teams from Americas a second shot at qualification from the 2027 premieres. Getting only 1 tournament , more than 2 years ahead of olympics is very harsh on the teams from Americas.
  3. has qualified for the world cup by reaching SF in Asian cup . joins them today. We got 4 . 2 remaining spots will come from the playoffs between the 4 losing Quterfinalists.
  4. Congratulations to & on olympic 2028 qualification . is having a fabulous tournament & I hope improves & should get that asian quota.

Also with AFC & FIFA still not releasing their qualification documents for LA games , the result of this Continental championship may well have an impact. All the best go our girls Make proud & achieve history!
  10. ICC T20 Cricket WC2026 We have reached SF SF : V (05/03/26)
  11. Women’s AFC asian cup is ongoing in with 12 nations competing for a place in WC 2027 6 slots will be allocated for WC 4 Semi-finalists and 2 winners among the 4 losing QFs will qualify for WC 2027 Gr A - Gr B - Gr C -
  12. Bajwa has switched from to He is an excellent skeet shooter & could well qualify for Games. He switched nationality last year & will compete for in the qualifiers.
  13. Thanks for the amazing work on the spreadsheet. If my eye's read correctly you expect to get a quota in Sprint (M) canoeing . This will be historic, if time permits could you elaborate a bit please. What are the chances we get to hold on to the quota place ? Is their a risk of missing out? Thanks! I don't follow canoeing much so had a hard time simulating the qualification scenarios. Thanks!
  14. There were lots of good moments , this olympics felt so special (I am talking of WOG). The last time I really enjoyed viewing WOG was in Sochi & this tops it. So many feel good moments, very well attended event with spectators filling up stands & making an atmosphere. So many top performances, but for me the women team dominating the Biathlon event was really special. All 3 of them were just so good & gave top performance. I love it how the female commentator pronounced Lou Jeanmonnot & finally grazie mille we loved it! Thanks for making me fall in love with winter sports again
  15. When do you expect Cricket to announce the qualification pathway. I understand it could be ranking based qualification with perhaps one final qualifying tournament awarding 1 slot. 1 host quota 4 quotas from world rankings but limited to 1 NOC for each continent ( Asia, Africa, Europe & Oceania) Americas will have the host quota The final qualifying tournament will allow other top nations who couldn’t qualify via rankings to fight for that 1 slot. Do you think IOC will approve this format prepared by ICC? Boxing qualification document will take time as the international federation just got acknowledgement from IOC and surely we will see an increase in member state affiliation in the federation . Powerhouse countries like are yet to officially join world boxing . Athletics will possible release their time standards and qualification period later this year as they did for Paris.
