Mediocre day. Can’t believe I’m saying this after an Olympic gold for Camryn Rogers in women’s hammer throw, but that was to be expected, and at worst in silver (thought Price would’ve been better than she was) There was also Sloan Mackenzie/Katie Vincent in women’s C2-500m, who looked really good in the heats, and Savannah Sutherland advancing to the final in women’s 400m hurdles with 53.80. Now for the not so good news, McKay got robbed of a medal in women’s 10m platform (I didn’t watch the whole final, but apparently the North Korean’s second dive was overscored), and our men’s basketball team was so fucking pathetic that I’m still in disbelief.
