  7. Drews made some big kills during the fifth set and even had two match points (At 14-13, and 15-14), but wasn't enough to offset an on-fire Stysiak, who scored the last four kills for Poland. Great match for Skinner too, who led USA in scoring with 18pts, with 48.83% efficiency (15 attacks/2 errors/12 attempts).
  8. cap off their excellent VNL campaign with a bronze medal, defeating 3-2 (25-15, 16-25, 25-19, 18-25, 17-15) Poland's first women's medal at a VNL! Stysiak led all players with 23pts.

  16. Rojas 15.18m to take the win in women's TJ
  17. 11-10 Hungary over Canada. Despite the absence of Christmas, we played really well (Was really impressed with our defensive efforts, and to a lesser extent our attacking). Certainly helped that star Hungarian player Keszthelyi (Who ended the game with 4 goals) got removed from the game with just over 6 minutes to go (Forgot why). Well-deserved player of the game to Gaudreault who made some big saves during that match
  18. I agree. Some users (like me) only view threads when new replies are posted, so if the meet isn't over, there may be a chance we miss out on information about new qualifiers for the OG.
  19. Canada won't medal, but they certainly aren't a "weak country" in women's water polo.
  20. Canada's women's team should qualify for the playoffs, despite the absence of key player Kyra Christmas. Don't see them making it any further. Canada's men's team will get demolished by Italy, and lose to France. Maybe they'll win against China, but it's a toss-up.
  21. Ukraine boy wonder being Oleksii Sereda?
  22. qualifies for the Olympics in women's 10m synchro platform*, along with and
  23. Terrible fourth dive for Canada, there goes our chance at an Olympic quota
  24. Maybe GB in m synchro 10m, but unlikely. They'll need a China mistake to have a chance.
