Men’s team knocks Japan out of the World Championships with a sweep, and with that we’re through to the round of 16! To see us making the knockout rounds twice while missing a bunch of key players, oh I’m super proud of them -
defeat 3-0, +16.5 world ranking points and through to the round of 16! Our blocking this game, very, very, good. 10 in three sets, just insane !! Heslinga really took over late in that set when it looked like we were to blow a 21-16 lead McCarthy with two solo blocks, that second one with the “no, no, no” finger signals reminded me of Jimerson.
