Even with all these golds, I don’t trust us to perform that well at the Olympics. Very unpredictable sport, and both gender relays going out in the heats here in Gdansk is not a good sign…

4th for Megan Oldham as well, just 0.03 off bronze. Of note, Naomi Urness who competed at the 2022 World Junior Championships and finished 4th and 6th in slopestyle/big air, finished 13th in her World Cup debut. I will also point out though, there’s some quality names missing.

On the men’s side, it’s an all-Swedish final between Holting Nilsson/Andersson and Olympic champions Åhman/Hellvig, with Rotar/Gauthier-Rat taking on Olympic silver medalists Ehlers/Wickler for bronze. On the women’s side, it’s Samoilova/Graudina vs Nuss/Brasher for the title, both are in their first final, with an all-Brazilian bronze medal match between Carol/Rebecca and Thamela/Victoria

Canadian Curling Olympic Trials (from the semifinals onwards?, will attempt at least the BO3 finals) and the Beach Volleyball World Championships knockout stages (semifinals onwards, then a bunch of the quarterfinals) for sure. Some of the Bobsleigh/Skeleton WC, Speed Skating WC, Short Track Speed Skating WC, and Freestyle Skiing WC. How I juggle it with my personal life, I have no idea.
