Men's 49er Bronze at AG 2018 just 0.5 points behind Korea.Japan winners already qualified. So it will be a 3 way battle with even Oman in the mix . So 1-5 sailors at Tokyo 2020, hopefully at least 3.

Since it's a senior event with Olympic qualification spots it's all OK. Italy need to do better hard work. More over it's a team sport. So everything is done fairly . If it was a European Youth games with multiple events and Italy didn't get an athlete (which is not possible) then surely need for a tripartite arises.

World Games 2021 in Birmingham irrespective of India qualifying 20 athletes or 0 athlete ,enjoyed it last time. I also am with all para multi sports because I feel they deserve the same rewards as able bodied. So even that Winter deafylampics is a thumbs up from me. Nothing against Winter Olympics but winter YOG was the problem bcoz I feel that was the right stage to turn government heads towards winter sports as youth is important.

Winter Olympics lack anything to be called a proper multi sport event . Nothing is done to improve it either so a Pakistani qualifying and Indian not qualifying doesn't change my view about the games. Last time Paksitan didn't but that's not the point these games are a thrash so I can miss this multi sport event and won't even feel like I missed bcoz Jan 9 -26 is reserved for Euro handball and I don't want to waste it on such useless events.

Forget India. All these what do you have to say? It's not that qualifications should be easy. Infact all unqualified nations MUST be allowed to send 1 athlete in either speed skating, short track speed skating ,alpine or cross country skiing. Otherwise these games won't improve.

IOC just doesn't promote winter yog much. Even when Bach met IOA president winter sports was never in discussion . The federations aren't rich and government doesn't think there's any chance. So if you're rich you can participate. Something like Summer YOG is much more easier to follow especially when some already famous athletes are participating. Mean while Odisha vs Mumbai for a 2026 summer YOG bid ,IOA made it clear. Even Delhi is there but water sports are difficult so is pollution.

And again fail to qualify a single athlete I wish the sprint skiing events had like universality spots for any country failing to qualify to be able to send 1 man or 1 woman or maybe in short track speed skating or speed skating something like that. Unless there isn't 140-150 nations participating at minimum these will not attract interest in youth. Though most nations may not have snow at least qualifications or invitations can help their citizens residing in Europe or America with colder conditions to join the team and qualify. I'm against having athletes from other countries participating after getting citizenship but rather those which have origin from the respective countries but residing elsewhere.

9-4 up I assumed it was going through but the Swedes had other ideas.
