    Agree perfectly! Maybe some day we'll have a contest with rules stating each country can choose their own song in any language which may or may not be by artist born in their country nor their language. We'll end up with many English songs bit songs would be nice to hear.

    It's Dika Toua, the first female Olympic lifter to lift weight. She has lifted 181kg, and has done 185 in training. She has won CWG gold and silver in 53kg then dropping to 49kg . Currently she is 8th best in world. North Korea is almost surely gonna miss this category for others, hence 3rd is Beatriz Pirron of Dominican Republic at 187kg. That is well within reach.

    It was on dd sports website. I don't think it's available now because the website was revamped 2 years ago. There were a couple of good events. TT was nice. Judo and Taekwondo were held in day and it was so nice to see draws. All nations were given opportunity to medal by somehow manipulating draws. So cape Verde and Guinea Bissau had many finalist. The atmosphere was brilliant with full capacity attendance including 35000 in football final and 4000+ in a match between Sao Tome And Principe vs Sri Lanka

    But still we send 1st string teams in many sports. I remember watching Sindhu and Srikanth in badminton and also top athletes.Some sports like cricket, football, paragliding ,taekewondo , squash, swimming ,kabaddi will be nice to watch. Also important will be India vs Pakistan in volleyball as the 2 teams could face in Olympic Qualifiers next year. Weightlifting has Olympic points added.

    Haan that's true but there was a good live stream on the free to air channel, along with free entries for football match except semis and finals, along with free livstream online.

    Though more regional dialects have been formed, thanks to the rules Portuguese culture remains. It says any Goan up-to 3rd generation from a parent born before 1951 is eligible to be a Portuguese citizen. Even the Portuguese PM is of Goan Origin.

    Yeah that's what I was afraid both the songs will not get proper justice if I use remix. Maybe by tomorrow I'll post the Indian entrant. Song Hint :It will be an extremely famous folk song .

    It was like A and B sing different songs. Then C who is not at all a singer, joins them using technical skills.

    Remix wasn't made by anyone. It was just like first half was 1 song and 2nd half other song.

    Is combining two songs in the form of remix allowed? Like both the songs were sung separately but remix was made manually and not by a singer

    With just over 5 days to go for the end of registrations, have made the decision of song, will post it soon. It will be a rather different song compared to what India has usually entered. But I have a doubt. The song is very old and hence can I use a newer video while the singer isn't changed at all ,in fact it's not that he sang it again only background video is changed.
