    Serie is over. Natalia Partyka in table tennis wins bronze medal. Its her first not gold medal at Paralympics since Athens 2004. She will have chance for another gold in Paris where she will end career.

    Fernando Verdasco lost in second round of qualifications against Cem Ilkel Meanwhile Sofia Kenin and Milos Raonic are another players withdrawing due to injuries or postive covid tests.

    2021 US Open will be first Grand Slam tournament since 1997 US Open (24 years!) where nobody of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams will not play at the same tournament, in addition defending champion Dominic Thiem and veteran Venus Williams are out due to injuries as well. Meanwhile Fernando Verdasco is playing here his first grand slam qualifications since 2003 French Open. It will be also last tournament for Ivo Karlovic who also is playing here in qualifications. Slowly an era in tennis is coming to end...

    Besides Joanna Fiodorow (hammer throw), Piotr Małachowski (discus throw) and Kamila Lićwinko (high jump) who will officialy end their careers in two weeks another two athletes will end careers after this season, those two are Kamila Przybyła in pole vault (just at age of 25) and Emilia Ankiewicz from 400m hurdles

    I just had deja vu of what happened in the match of our men's team against France at Olympics. Good first set and then everything collapsed as players started to believe for easy win against tough opponent. Luckily in this case tournament isn't so important and we are qualified to next round either way.

    I dont see the smallest chance for our guys to be qualified but it will be already huge success if we will play an equal matches with the top teams.

    And lets remember that she wad badly injured four months ago and it was unsure if she will be able to compete in this season.

    Just add the mens artistic swimming to Olympics and problem will be solved, at least part of We already had mixed duets in 2019 World Championships, so, why not? Especially when womens monobob, in case of winter games, was added to Olympics even before first official competition. Same about unknown yet mixed event in athletics, its hilarious, they are adding an event but IOC/WA doesnt even know yet what event it will be...

    It's not bad idea at all, to going to Paris for watching Olympics live If covid will be gone by this time and my funds will be enough for going there why not? Also, if few of us will go there at the same time we may made a special meeting for Totallympians somewhere in Paris, what do you think? If I good remember someone had similar idea in past.

    7 for Games overall and 4 for performance of Polish athletes, despite the biggest amount of medals in this century. We have win 9 medals in athletics, which is the best result ever for us, but just 5 medals in other sports and without gold, which is quite worrying.

    Pia Skrzyszowska (athletics) Iga Świątek (tennis) Laura Bernat, Krzysztof Chmielewski, Jakub Majerski (swimming) come first to my mind.

    Back to reality, to work And I will try check results of Polish juniors at their this year main competitions to find out if someone of them might be medal contenders in Paris

    Poland also gets wild card for this tournament Good thing for those womens but I doubt that they will improve quality of this event

    I feel sorry for these marathon runners, their dreaming moment of receiving Olympic medals at closing ceremony are destroyed by presence of 1976 champion...

    This crash and fact that such fighter like Pikulik couldnt continue the competition (problems with breathing) perfectly sums up our terrible, just 5 medals, (besides athletics) Olympics. Im worried that in Paris we wont be better in other than athletics sports...
