Olympian1010 7,479 Posted November 14, 2019 Author #151 Share Posted November 14, 2019 First snow at Les Tuffes Ski Jumping Hill. Honestly, it looks like one of the most run down hills in the world, and it’s brand new (or at least renovated). Organizers clearly cutting a few costs here . It’s all good though, just happy to see ski jumping on the program. It should also be a great training hill for local kids after the games. After that snow melted off, the organizers went ahead and began laying the first real layer of snow on the hill “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. heywoodu 13,560 Posted November 14, 2019 #152 Share Posted November 14, 2019 Too bad the Nordic events aren't held in Switzerland though. If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! They didn’t cost the organizers a crazy amount of money either though. Les Tuffes also closer to Lausanne then St. Moritz I believe. “Sport has the power to change the world. Olympian1010 7,479 Posted November 22, 2019 Author #159 Share Posted November 22, 2019 With one stop of the Omega Youth Series to go, we can pretty much see where the bobsleigh/skeleton quotas will go. Men Monobob: (KOR, BRA, USA, CAN will need to race at the final tour stop in order to meet the eligibility requirements) Women Monobob: (KOR, CAN, COL will need to race at the final tour stop in order to meet the eligibility requirements. Should one of the three not attend, GER gets a third quota) Men Skeleton: (JPN, CAN, BRA, KOR will need to race at the final tour stop in order to meet the eligibility requirements) Women Skeleton: :AUT (CAN, BRA, UKR will need to race at the final tour stop in order to meet the eligibility requirements) heywoodu 1 “Sport has the power to change the world.
