    After 3/4 rounds Papineau is in 3rd, one stroke behind the two tied for first (and 3 ahead of 4th). Women are almost done. Edit: Now that women are done, Sharpe tied for 3rd, one stroke back of 2nd. First is out of reach pending something crazy.

    It was a great comeback, though! Last minute win (I'll take that over a last minute loss....cough cough epee team cough...)

    Yeah, I guess I was thinking of the women. I've been doing blood work all morning and feeling a bit out of it, haha.

    The men's rugby team loses (badly) to Argentina in the semis. Our teams did not come to play here. Edit: And Chile managed to beat USA. A clear chance at gold thrown away, and now they'll likely finish....wait for it....4th.

    Wow! What a finish by Canada to take the bronze in the K2!

    After Canada won 30 golds in the first week it looked like we would definitely see them break their non-home gold medal record of 47. Now they need 7 more today and tomorrow and it'll likely be close. There's still some good chances in canoe/kayak, athletics, breaking and sailing and maybe fencing, rugby, bowling, squash, and table tennis. Was counting on trampoline but after seeing them yesterday I think a medal in any of the 4 events would be an achievement.

    The Canadian breakers kind of got screwed by having both the boys and girls in the same group to face each other. Nonetheless, 3/4 of them safely made the quarters, with Phil Wizard looking like the favourite on the boys side and honestly either of the girls capable of snagging the gold. But I'm also an old man who knows nothing about this sport.

    Out of 5 individual Canadian trampoline routines so far, they have fallen off the trampoline 4 times....

    Canada also getting their asses handed to them by the US in fencing. It's so frustrating, because Canada is good at the same sports as the US, but obviously the US is always better.

    After two rounds in golf, Papineau is in 2nd on the men's side while Sharp is in 3rd tied for second on the women's side. I didn't notice the actual scores!
