Brazil defeated Paraguay and advanced to the next phase.

Colombia had too many Covid-19 cases in the squad, and lost to Chile by walkover.

Brazil, Chile and Uruguay will play each other from July 11-25.

United States and Canada will play each other on October 4-11.

Canada fails to qualify for the first time after losing to Chile.

Uruguay qualified after defeating USA.

USA and Chile will play for the second american quota (the loser will advance to intercontinental repechage).

Rugby Canada is in complete shambles and, frankly, at this point the organization should be burned to the ground and rebuilt. And this failure pales in comparison to the bullshit going on with the women's program.

Great for Uruguay @NaBUru38

Let's see if Chile can best the odds and qualify for World Cup.

Spain is disqualified (for the second consecutive time) due to fielding an ineligible naturalized player.

Romania qualifies in their place and Portugal goes to the Intercontinental repechage.

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
