a few notes on the 1st Street ranking...

Women
- 67 total starters
- BRA, USA and JPN all in the Top 11 (AUS and NED only not among the 3 powerhouses)
- The cut of the Top 20 (max 3 per NOC) is at position #26
- Top 20 geographical distribution:
BRA, JPN and USA = 3 Skateboarders
AUS and NED = 2 Skateboarders
BEL, CHN, COL, PHI, RUS, ESP and THA = 1 Skateboarder

Men
- 138 total starters
- The top 13 are all eligible, as no NOC is beyond the max quota at that point
- The cut of the Top 20 (max 3 per NOC) is at position #28
- Top 20 geographical distribution:
BRA, CAN and USA = 3 Skateboarders
AUS, FRA, JPN and POR = 2 Skateboarders

What happened to the Vans Park Series?  I thought that this was going to be core to the qualification events.

As did I, but the Dew Tour this weekend will be a big competition for park skaters.
