Women's Handball Qualification to Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games

Recommended Posts

This means an easy qualification for :NED  :NOR  :MNE  and :JPN v :KOR  will be interesting for the final spot of that group.

I am guessing that :RUS and :FRA  will qualify from the death group no matter what. :SWE  :HUN  :ESP  :BRA will fight really hard for the last two spots, every match will count. It can be the most exiting group at the team events.

I think you are underestimating :KOR . They have a very balanced team and play 'another type' of handball. I'm curious about the Japanese team. Latest tournaments they did really well (and also play a very quick game, like Korea). Netherlands struggled against these Asian teams, so nothing is sure. But normally :NED:MNE and :NOR will finish in the top 4.

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
    • Today : Jordan 3-0 Egypt  This team will surprise us
    • option no.2 for sure, as it's been all this shitstorm organized by the nhl owners through their embedded reporters   ps not that the north american audience looks really aware of the hockey rules and habits outside the nhl (and around their game, too, since they look not to know that just a couple of weeks ago they played 2 nhl matches on an ice sheet of the exact same size of Milan's olympic arena)
    • Are we supposed to take Daly's word for it or is this just public posturing to try and shame the Milan organizers (which they certainly deserve for all the delays) in order to threaten NHL participation?
