So..... the spanish girls were ALWAYS in preolympic place and suddenly they are out of it. The women's US team were no where to be found and are in.

And the spanish men team qualifies when even our federation saying it was already imposible for our team.... they were making only women tournaments to get points, they ditched the men's chance........

And all that happend when the rankings went invisible.....

SUPER SKETCHY.

3 tournaments in the last 3 weeks, 10 in the last 2 months, of course that was not enough, look at how much other countries played...

Based on the rankings before they were hidden Spain's woman was in and US woman (who needed to be top10) was under the 20th place.

How can all chance that much in a month??

And why and how did the spanish men's team qualifiyed??

A lot...just read this thread and you'll see that gaining 300 or 400k points per day was possible... I haven't been checking Spain but USA every few days were gaining points. I don't think they needed to be top 10 but top 10 based on rankings once you remove directly qualified teams.

No idea about the men, never looked at the ranking in details, wait to see if the rankings are made public again

Edit: you can see the rankings now on FIBA website. For women's OQT: ESP are not in top 10 once you remove teams automatically qualified. So they can't qualify 2 teams.

Actually, Spanish women are not in top 10 european teams! (FRA and HUN as world medallist, NED, ITA,  EST, GER, UKR, BLR, CZE, SUI). That's why they don't qualify.

    • I haven't read anything about that   meanwhile many skiers were complaining about the snow and the different consistency of it between the sectors of the track   Odermatt was quite polite but very tough at the same time on that...
    • we already have something like that...it's the regular world championships!   I mean, if we spread the Games all around the Globe, we completely lose the fascination of a single great multi-disciplinary event in a single place (more or less, given that some sports are always held far away from the actual Olympic City)   it's just another thing, it's not the Olympic Games anymore   if that's to be the case, I'd rather prefer the single championships to be well spread through the whole year, so to be able to watch the most of them without losing hours of sleep
    • and  Pietro Zazzi also had a bad crash, ending up with broken tibia and fibula in his right leg    a few more skiers also went down Today, but luckily with no injuries   the different quality and consistence of the snow (and ice) in some points of the track made it very difficult and will be a problem also Tomorrow, when the skiers will have to go full speed
    • Nice! Interesting predictions. Hopefully we'll do even better than 2 bronze medals.
    • Cyprien Sarrazin suffered a major crash training in Bormio. He is conscious, but will need to undergoe surgery to address a brain bleed.
