Rough morning for the :NED

Nobody sees the silver for Kamminga as rough though, this was exactly as expected: Kamminga starting like a madman (the best way for him to race) and Stubblety-Cook finishing way faster than anyone else. Considering how close this race was, any medal would have been a success and unlike....

Spoiler

...the rowing women...

he definitely sees this as a big success :d

American NBC taking time to show ANOTHER fluff piece of Caeleb Dressel

They just can't show the swimmers presentation or it could be like first day of finals, they did not showed the women's 100m butterfly semifinal because they were focusing celebrating the gold at the 400 IM

Dutch NOS generally likes to go with analysing every Dutch race so long that they're back just in time for the next non-Dutch final (if they even show that) :p

Because the regular viewer here apparently wants the STORY instead of live sports.

Spoiler

I really don't think the regular viewer is doing anything else but sleeping at the moment.

Rowdy Gaines, us commentator for NBC is looking more cautious with his commentary LOL, now he is saying he doesn't want to jinx Murphy but he 'expects him to do well'

He has slow down after the Ledecky losses and the overall slow american start so I think now he learned his lesson to tune down his usual american cheerleading

    • I can’t see it being kept. Unless some very important  people have asked for it.
    • First event at the World juniors (team events) had 6 nations win medals.
    • I hope they keep it. Even though the sport doesn't exist in Slovakia at all, it's still very exciting to watch.
    • will miss this stage because of the Middle East war, since the flights with Qatar Airways have been cancelled and can't be replaced in time (especially for the bicycles)
    • Just in time for....errmmm...next year's Summer Biathlon season!
    • Well, look at that! What a race, absolutely amazing! Couldn't this have happened at the Olympics?
