And one of the two accusers is Justine Braisaz-Bouchet (this is why JBB never reacted to JS incredible season last year...).

It will be a very strange 2023-2024 season in the French women's team. 😫

Apparently this happened last August but the French federation swept it under the rug yet Braisaz filed a criminal complaint. So now the cat is out of the bag. I guess it's known why Simon is training alone :p

One article said it allegedly happened during the Blink Festival.

  • 2 weeks later...

the lil sister said STOP ! enough is enough !

After Paja´s (rumored-very) unlikely return to the sport after this season break due pregnancy, this is the latest and last right-handed-direct K.O. and funeral farewell to slovak biathlon.

so very likely already in Cortina :SVK biathlon participation streak will end

but, yeah, In other hand, less money to biathlon, more money to hockey :hockey:

Just another case of the French women and their spectacular team spirit :d

Well, relay and nations cup results last year were pretty good for such a weak team spirit squad.

I don't see any particular reason to consider it worse than in any other team.

Probably so. Once a team gets a reputation as a drama team, everyone looks for drama.  Certainly lots of mysterious happenings in the :GER ladies, for example.

Two pieces of biathlon news related to Russia.

Russia is blocking the transfer of Daria Virolainen to the Finnish team.  She has a Finnish passport, but the 34 year old's transfer has been stymied by the RBU.

The other one is that the Uzbekistan Biathlon team has requested from the IBU the ability to participate in the Summer Continental Cup hosted by the RBU and Belarus.   This is interesting because the decision by the IBU could signal a softening to the hard stance they have taken on Russia due to the invasion of Ukraine.
