How Many Medals do You Expect from Your Nation at the Winter Olympic Games 2018?

Recommended Posts

0 medal for sure.
If a miracle happens, near the impossible, there could be a medal in Women's Snowboard Cross or Bobsleigh 4 man (they are top 20 in the world ranking). But I could bet millions, quietly, that this is not going to happen.

Sweep potential

Alpine skiing (women's downhill): Italy, apparently

We're just gonna keep hoping Isabel somehow miraculously sneaks in the final and has some more luck there :d

Definitely 2 from Sablikova (if there will not be problem with her back injury)

Ledecka, Samkova (they are favorites especially Ledecka, but these sports are very risky and unpredictable)

Potentially medal candidates: Erbanova,  biathlon,  biathlon,  biathlon,  biathlon)

I feel like we might only get one or two medals for Australia.

ONLY one or two ?? do you even know what is winter in your country?? :d

Just kidding, i know you have good chance in freestyle skiing and snowboard..

Now that Yuskov and Kulizhnikov are ruled out (which is rather significant for the Dutch medal chances, hence the mention): 6-7 gold medals, 16-17 total medals.

.

To be honest, for me, the only REAL chances we have are all in ski jumping, where if we won't get at least one medal in each men's event will be disappointment. Personally I hope we will get something more in other sports too, but i don't believe in more than 5-6 medals, 3 of which should be in ski jumping.

My favourite Volleyball position: LIBERO. You ask why? Look here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyIOarNAONk
