Today was Greco-Roman. None of our wrestlers were even close to qualifying. Tomorrow is women's freestyle. The draws are out and I cannot see Vinesh's name in the 48kg category. Seems like she has failed to make weight.

Wrestling - All Indians lost in preliminary round in Greco Roman

Weightlifting - Starts on 24th April

Greco Roman was never India's favourtie I think.I was surprised when one named Harpreet made the cut!
High hopes from Sandeep Tomar (57kg), Somveer (86kg), Satywart Kadian (97kg), Sumit (125kg) !
But from Greco Roman they have one last chance in turkey!

You are correct. Mausam Khatri was the last rare Indian wrestler who qualified in Greco Roman way back in 2004 Athens Olympics

2 of our female wrestlers conceded walkovers in the repecharge round. Hopefully they're not injured and if they're not injured then this doesn't make sense.
