Subhanker Dey beats Tommy is a great sign hope he builds on it.

Sourav Verma & Kashyap closest currently for 2nd qualifier post, don't think they can get within the top 16 though at the end of Apr'20, some others need to come up. Women's singles seems very difficult for Saina, women's and mixed doubles maybe Ashwini with her respective partner's can pull through.

I would like both Kidambi and Praneeth to qualify, but for Kidambi its tough as there are few young decent players in top 16 like Sherar Rhistavito, Kenta Nishimito.

Kidambi needs to reach minimum quarters in top tournaments and perhaps enter in lesser tournaments and win them.

Saina is much better than the players who are ranked abouut 12-16 and she needs some consistent good results

She needs to play in lower level till this year end to gain momentum.

If Saina and Srikanth do not qualify, they would better leave in the next two years. They would not be around till 2024 for sure. But where are the next batch of badminton players?

Any idea about Ruthvika Shivani and Rituparna Das? Lakshya Sen won something a fortnight back but still yet to be in the big league. bad days ahead for badminton without good junior players coming up.

What about the next batch of players? Saina will not be in the next Olympics, probably Sindhu too. Any idea about Ruthvika Shivani and Rituparna Das?
