Biden is the guy, who is almost 80 years old and has clear signs of dementia. And he is the favourite of the democratic voters. :d God i love America.

It's 2020, year of the presidential elections, and you've got two more or less senile candidates battling each other. What a party this is gonna be.

Yep, but this isn't Europe. American "democracy" is such a farce...

Yep, but this also fucking hilarious coming from an Italian...

There’s a lot to “love.”

I really don’t understand how the fuck the Democratic Party decided Biden was the best candidate. I think this actually says a lot of issues about sexism in African American culture...

What was the question again? That’s a nasty question you know that? Raise your hand if you haven’t made a woman uncomfortable on multiple occasions?

God, what is wrong with this country. Democracy doesn’t give us a right to be fucking idiots.

Whelp, here starts the battle within for the far left between the Greens/DSA and the Democrats. A lot of the far left is indicating their open to voting for Hawkins over Biden, so the Democratic Party might find itself battling the Greens more than the GOP. This is what happens when people make a shit choice.

Because Obama said the Party shouldn't lean too much to the left? And Obama is the best thing this party has had in XXI century so it's obvious why they chose his ex-VP.

Democratic Party is so divided Trump will laugh his ass off into another tenure. And then the liberals will lose their mind and wonder why on Earth was Trump reelected. Well, the answer lies in plain sight - the divisions among Democrats simply drag the party and the candidate down. If Sanders' voters won't support Biden it will be a landslide win for Trump.

And about the Democratic Party having no other options than senile granddads and people who just aren't really good enough (yet?).

There are some Congress reps I’d vote for in an instant. Porter (who should absolutely be our first female president), Murphy, and a few others. The Democratic really suffers from a lack of identity more than anything else. The GOP is a united block. There isn’t the large fractions amongst conservatives that we see among liberals.

My family is all liberal. My dad swings just left of center, my mom swings far to the left as a progressive, I swing far to left as a Democratic Socialist, and sister is progressive but rather uninterested in politics unlike the rest of the family. Needless to say this election has put some strains on our relationships.

Relationships that are actually strained by politics - even more so if in general they're not as different as, say, Trump vs Biden/Saunders/whatever - can be seen as relationships of a doubtful strength, come on. I'm not at all a fan of my sister voting for one of the main Christian parties, but obviously that won't affect our relationship, that'd be silly.
