Which news' source are you seeing this?

Ap, nyt, npr, cnn, nbc, huffpost, washington post, fox, bbc, etc.

Western news are blind to human rights violations by countries with pro-west government like Colombia and Israel.

Israel is currently stealing land, doing force expulsions on muslims, locking children in detention facilities, using excessive violent force on protesters and enforcing apartheid againts its Muslim citizens while at the same time conducting assasinations against foreign countries like Iran, violating foreign territories by flying warplanes in Lebanon and bombing sovereign states like Syria.

Today is May 9, 27 million soviet citizens, mostly Russians died fighting the nazis. While Russia is celebrating their victory rightfully with a military parade, neighboring US and EU-backed Ukraine celebrated with a parade honoring nazi soldiers.

I dont see nothing of this but with the Holomodor.........they wont remember soviets too well.

Not sure about other places, but online I mostly see Israel being synonymous with aggression. Quite a lot of people care (at least it gets a shitload more attention in the online world here than something like the horrific situation in Xinjiang).

    • Not in modern times (believe it has happened back in the 19th century). The Social Democrats were rather close in the mid-30s, but generally it's been the Social Democrats as the largest getting challenged by either Venstre (the old, liberal party) or the Conservatives (though their latest peak was in the 80s). Keep in mind that most Danish governments have been minority governments. The latest government (well, it's still the government until the new one is formed) was the first one since the early 90s and only the 5th since the Second World War.
