Mongolia does have a Navy though :p

Well, they dominated in an era when conquest was done primarily by land. That changed in XV century and most Empires were naval-dominant since then :p

So even American know this fun fact

Yep, though I only know it because HAI (Half as Interesting) did a video on it a while back.

You know these protests are going nowhere. Nobody can remove a former KGB agent from power unless he chooses to do it all by himself ;)

More like you know it's going nowhere because only 40 thousand people protested in Moscow. I mean, that's pretty much nothing. Even in Budapest the weak opposition was able to organize bigger protests in a much smaller capital than Moscow when the majority of the country was supporting Orbán. So it's funny to see the Western media report on this like it's some significant event. All I see is a ridiculous and completely futile attempt from the West to weaken Russia internally.

    • It's all hogwash especially in the short attention span generation. Like nobody cares about Free Tibet anymore either. Free Palestine will last a lot longer due to Saudi Arabia becoming a sponsorship force in sports.   Israel is too weak in soccer to qualify from UEFA zone. The only time they qualified was from the Asian zone and they only beat Australia & New Zealand who were complete nobodies in the 1960s. No such luck in the 60 years since.
    • Oh I assure you FIFA dodger a bullet with Israel not qualifying…   But ya that’s kind of the thing, shut up and dribble is a mantra anti LGBT people have used often. I don’t think it’s hypocritical to remind them of their position
    • Ah, yes but that's not how pro athletes are taught in North America these days? Shut up & dribble is xenophobic, racist or whatever? The hypocrisy of some of these policies were exposed during 2022 World Cup already where the Saudis played it smart and waved their own "Free Palestine' slogans. Forget LGBT rights for a moment, how many 'Free Palestine' flags will be waved in 2026? Or will those be confiscated by default? Somehow I feel this won't be met with similar backlash when China clamped down on 'Free Tibet' in 2008 OG. Saudi Arabia is more important to global markets than Iran & Egypt
    • Wisła Płock just assumed 1st position after five consecutive draws. Must be first time ever a team on a five match winless streak actually moves up to league top.
    • Well ya, which is why the Egyptian and Iranian teams can shut up and dribble :P
    • The problem is, the World Cup is not a local event. Overall it's another storm in a teacup. LGBT rights in Muslim countries won't change a damn inch becuse of one soccer match in Seattle
