This is the national conference of PAN, they are having a session to elect a new chairman.

They have been the opposition since the last two elections, but the current chairman Hasan is trying abandon their stance and started to support the current government hoping for some positions. Hasan's supporter and the other candidate's supporter clashed because Hasan's supporter insisted that no voting is needed and Hasan should win by acclamation. In the end they voted and Hasan still won. The BGM is the party anthem :p

But little children having to drum up some pledge all the time, that is downright scary. If it wasn't a western country doing that, everyone would be calling it indoctrination and propaganda :p

It is indoctrination and propaganda

It started after the Civil War.

Gallup released a new poll today that said 76% responded that they’d be in favor of electing a socialist as the US President.

That’s what happens when you don’t pass any major social reform for 30 years, bail out banks who caused a financial collapse, and elect an asshole as president.

76% of Democrats ;)

But well. There's quite a difference among ideas of socialism.

Yes, and it’s mostly spearheaded by Californian, New Mexican, and Northeast Democrats. I’m not in favor a communist type socialist, but I’d be all down for a green, social democrat, or democratic socialist.

Not exactly surprising in a country with things like saying some dumb pledge every morning in school  (Or is that exaggerated and is it actually not like that in the United States of North Koreamerica? :p )

Anyway, at least those idiot groups are 'attacking' each other there, that's something.

Not only at school.  I say it every morning at home!

California immigration is also causing places like Nevada, Arizona, Texas, and Oregon to turn shades of blue.
