Yeah I’m not all that trusting towards the Trump administration offering asylum. So I guess we should have sent the Jews back. Or maybe we should have ask them to kindly form a line and what for their formal application to be processed, and wait in the country they’re fleeing while we take our time with their application.

Again the difference is that there are no Gas Chambers in Mexico, if there was a genocide going on in Guatemala, sure, but there isn't. So stay there and apply for asylum. Luckily the wall is going up rapidly and pretty soon we will have a proper border

This is probably the worst thing I've read in a while. I feel ashamed for such lack of tact. How clueless and selfish can one be to completely disregard problems faced in Mexico and even play the victim and mention gas chambers?

Just a direct response to a question of whether the jews should've been sent back to germany during world war 2

So, Jews can be victims but not Mexicans or Salvadorians?

Do you have any idea how devoid of hope one must be in order to abandon his or her home, risk being killed, imprisoned, being separated from their families, put their lives on the hands of criminals only to cross the border and live in a new country? Can you imagine what kind of desperation would force people to do this? It could mean that they have no time left to patiently wait for their cry for help to be heard. If they wait, they can be murdered, evicted from their homes, their kids can join gangs and God knows what else could happen.

The Democratic Party has evolved to a more inclusive, world focused agenda, and if that upsets people, than they weren’t ever truly ever progressive to begin with. Explain to me how Trump hasn’t done anything except represent the “Urban/Coastal” elite?

My generation is hunger to vote, so the older generations better be ready.

Just look at the Corbyn collapse in the UK. Johnson is the urban elitist educated at Eton (and Trump-like clown) yet it's Corbyn/Labour who got dismissed as racist and appeasing the urban area elites! Labour suffered the worst elections since 1935! Democrats are heading the same way if Sanders and Cortez-Ocasio break through with their socialist ideas. You'll suffer the same fate as Corbyn and then you'll be wondering what the hell happened. You dismiss/ignore the older blue collars and you're fucked. Hell, this is one of the chief reasons Hilary Clinton lost in 2016 already.

CNN can go fuck themsleves, as I do agree with conservatives, that they are not pushing news for the sake of the public good.

Yeah, right. Fox News is the progressive evil. If you dislike both CNN & Fox then what the hell are you watching? :mumble:

I’m not watching. I read. Sometimes it’s just better to listen to everyone, and look for the facts on your own.

Also Arizona and New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Part of Texas. Also while we're at it let's give back Konigsberg to Germany.

In the end borders are just artificial really. Men can draw maps on a line, separate us, tell us who to hate, and how to live, but in the end we all breathe the same air, have the same basic needs, and we all find ourselves in a 6 by 6 plot in ground just the same as everyone else.

I don’t know where you come from in Ukraine, but imagine if the US government had told your family that. Your life may be very, very different at this moment in time had the US not welcomed you. I’ve been around the country, and I can tell you that it is in fact not full.
