Squash only 16 seems ugly. I hope its not a direct elimination draw but a 4 groups of 4 and then QF, SF and Medals. -
Apparently only Modern Pentathlon lost quotas (they go to climbing) Breaking quotas went to adding 3x3 teams. Format for mixed gymnastics event is TBD. -

Compound archery?????????. Finally more teams in 3x3. Should been 12 since the start. Good on the football change (regardless that the south american qualy will be bloody) -
Based on the press conference it sure looks like the men's and women's eights are on the chopping block for 2032 / that a mixed eights might replace it. Also the IOC seems to think the mixed 4x400m in athletics is a huge success. Bleh.

Swimming has 100 more quotas for Women than Men solely because of the large teams Synchronised. The mixed team in Gymnastics will be wild. -

Tennis becomes a Mixed Event rather than Mixed Doubles it seems. (Table Tennis is still Mixed Doubles). I -
I hated the decrease in Men's Football! they should just increase women's competition -
Honnestly this is not as bad as I feared? The additional sports being outside of the 10500 athlete quota is a *huge* relief.

15 is generous for Cricket they could have only given them 13 and said one cover batsman and one cover Bowler. -

Surprised they didn’t add an extra swimming mixed relay as well. How they going to fit in the Mixed 4x100 in athletics without it clashing with the non mixed or 100/200 where most will be competing.
