tbh, it was more the US duo (especially Mickelson) playing really bad ("Lefty" was just walking around with hands in his pockets when not throwing)...

more in general, I think the US made a lot of "tactical" mistakes in building this afternoon's pairings...and they paid a very big prize for that...

I agree with you that Mickelson seems like he doens't really care about this competition.

But having 5 birdies in 9 holes is still pretty good on this course. ;)

Does this flag mean that all members must be from European Union? :p

If that was the case, Team Europe would be screwed. If UK was already out of EU, things would be pretty tough for Team Europe...:p

sure...

even if today it wasn't so punishing, as fairways and greens had been softened by the night rain and wind didn't play a decisive role...

maybe tomorrow the course condition changes and it's gonna be more difficult for all the players...:mumble:

p.s. watching all that crowd following the players and that landscape is just amazing...I love the Ryder Cup (and Le Golf National)...

Molinari and Fleetwood are only the 3rd couple to be unbeaten through 4 matches. Palmer/Dickinson (1967 and 71)  won 5 in a row while Nicklaus/Watson being 4-0.

yeah, they've been great in these 2 days...they really match well together...

but honestly, they've been helped a lot by a disastrous Patrick Reed on both their fourball matches and by a tired and frustrated Tiger in today's foursome match...

however, image.png.9e49e4211f97ca76f5db72c8361fbf62.png Europe lead 10-6 after day #2, with only the 12 singles remaining (tomorrow)...
