heywoodu 13,633 Posted December 29, 2017 Author #81 Share Posted December 29, 2017 No Olympic 1500m for reigning Olympic champion Jorien ter Mors. Lotte van Beek makes it after a huge injury a few years ago If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! NearPup 2,309 Posted December 29, 2017 #82 Share Posted December 29, 2017 (edited) Does this result mean Achtereekte and Das are qualified? Edit: to answer my own question, Achtereekte is officially qualified, Das still isn't. Edited December 29, 2017 by NearPup

According to the NOS, Achtereekte is sure. Das still has to wait. However, all big favorites have qualified and with the qualified athletes, we can build a good team for the team pursuit. So I doubt that Das won’t make it. If either Antoinette de Jong, Wüst or Achtereekte finishes top 2 tomorrow on the 5.000m, I think Letitia de Jong (Wüst’s girlfriend) will also qualify as #3 on the 500m. Achtereekte: yes Das: mostly yes, in theory she could still be replaced by someone if the federation wants to do so, but that's highly unlikely If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! heywoodu 13,633 Posted December 29, 2017 Author #85 Share Posted December 29, 2017 Holy crap, 1:07.64 for Nuis, a huge new 'sea level world record' Nice for him that he finally made it, after missing out on the Olympics the last two times (even though he was good enough to qualify in those seasons, he failed to be at his best at the right time) If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Kramer De Vries Nuis Bergsma Verweij Mulder Verbij Smeekens Krol Blokhuijsen It seems quite likely that these are going to be the 10 headed to Pyeongchang (possibly no Krol if Verbij gets the 1000m spot, although Krol has a 1500m chance as well). heywoodu 13,633 Posted December 30, 2017 Author #88 Share Posted December 30, 2017 Fantastic 6:56.41 for Annouk van der Weijden, only 4 women were ever faster in Heerenveen If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! heywoodu 13,633 Posted December 30, 2017 Author #89 Share Posted December 30, 2017 Esmee Visser Letitia de Jong goes out in tears because Achtereekte doesn't double up. NearPup 2,309 Posted December 30, 2017 #90 Share Posted December 30, 2017 (edited) Cruel way for Letita de Jong to be bumped off the team. Still, she is definitively the least deserving of the 11 on the selection matrix. Edit: Also I get Bergsma is going to get to do the 5000m anyway xD Edited December 30, 2017 by NearPup
