"Beijing 2022 class" IOC Athletes commision candidates revealed

 

Seun ADIGUN ( Bobsleigh ), Nathan Ikon CRUMPTON ( Seleton), Adam EDELMAN ( Skeleton ), Martin FOURCADE ( Biathlon), Frida HANSDOTTER ( Alpine Skiing), Shiva KESHAVAN ( Luge), Te-an LIEN ( Luge), Jacqueline MOURAO ( Cross-Country Skiing), Maria NTANOU ( Cross-Country Skiing), Mathilde Amivi PETIT JEAN ( Cross-Country Skiing), Eva SAMKOVÁ ( Snowboarding), Florence SCHELLING ( Ice Hockey), Oluseyi SMITH ( Bobsleigh), Dalia SOBERANIS ( Speed Skating), Raluca STRAMATURARU ( Luge), Ireen WÜST ( Speed Skating).

 

2 Athletes (from 2 different sports) will be elected. Every participant will vote for 2 athletes from 2 different sports) and the two winners will then replace Hayley Wickenheiser and O-E Bjoerndalen in the athletes commision.

Same goes for Seun Adigunova.  Though at least she already has the Olympic status.

If Soberanis fails to qualify, then she will be removed from the list of candidates.

At least he has a realistic chance of qualification, unlike the Guatemalan speed skater, who just doesn't.

 

Considering it was someone's job to compose this list, they should have at least made some background checks.
