:ENG 6-0 :RUS

It was an amazing performance, and Russia were poor. Parris runs to hug Mark Sampson as she makes it 1-0 with the whole team as a way of defending him against the racism allegations.

Next day he is sacked, apparently unrelated to the racism thing but because of "safeguarding allegations" from 2014 "having full details revealed" (Daily Mail have taken this to mean he was a nonce, cheers lads)... hmmm... seems legit.

What's up with teams having already played 2 matches, while other teams in the same group haven't played one match yet? Someone didn't finish their online course in basic scheduling?

For Women's football there aren't a scheduled rounds, only the date are scheduled (Fifa/Uefa date). list of matches are an agreement between the Federations (ratified by Uefa). Only the last round will play in the same day.

The group of Italy (group six) is a perfect example for the "random scheduled" : the 3rd match of :ITA  will be against :ROU this is their 2nd leg (1st won 1-0 by Italy)  instead :POR will debut in October, and will play at home three matches in-a-row; different situation for :MDA : this year will play away all four matches!!!

Positive debut for :ITA  with 2 won (with :MDA and  :ROU )  other two matches in 2017 will play against :ROU  and :POR

Scheduled for  2018 the decisive matches against :BEL maybe "our opponent" for the direct qualifying......

That's such a bit of 'bullshit'...I sort of understand people taking women's football less serious when something basic like the scheduling is of such a low level. Come on, it can't be that hard. Step up the game to the level of men's World Cup qualifying..

  • 4 weeks later...

:ENG 4-0 :BIH

No awkwardness from the team if there was any in the dressing room

I wonder if Aluko will come back

Our Centre back and captain Houghton got 2, 1 for Parris and a penalty for Kirby.

Hodžić was quite good and we could have got more if not for her.

Our qualification is weird. We have our first four games at home and our final four games away...

    • I have reported this again and they said it should be fixed now, please let me know if you are still facing issues.
    • more countries added to the list of US ban    you can't travel to USA if you are from : burkina faso , niger , Laos , South sudan , mali , sierra leon ...
    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
