When will Main Rd draw take place?

Probably not until February   I'd say February 5th is a good pick.

 

Two positive COVID tests:

 

Magdalena Frech (out of qualifying)

Amanda Anisimova (out of Main Draw)

Once again Polish girl is tested positive before GS Q, first Kawa in Roland Garros, now Fręch  and she doesnt have any symptoms

Good draws for Pironkova and Tomova, both should be making it through. As for Kostova and Shinikova it didn't matter that much, as both can hardly make an impact 

 

Also heavy rooting for a particular Mexican cutie  @mrv86 Too bad she is in the toughest section of the whole draw...

I'm rooting for her too... it has been too long since any Mexican player made it into a Grand Slam, so I'd like to see her qualifying once more, and who knows, maybe a spot in Tokyo isn't out of the question.

both  Mayar and safwat qualified to 2nd Rd of qualifications , Mayar has really easy game early morning , i think both of them can win also in 2nd Rd tommorow , but things will not be easy in 3rd Rd , Krunic is a very experienced player and if she's in form she can beat anyone so what about mayar  and Safwat has another very very experienced player dzumhur who usually was a top 32 player i really doubt if he can beat him , but he brought a new coach so wo knows
