God French eventing can't catch a breath ?. Our best couple, Thomas Carlile and Birmane had to withdraw.

Reserve Karim Laghouag and Triton Fontaine will replace them.

Spain has activated a substitution. Jose Antonio Garcia Mena will ride Divina Royal instead of Sorento in the team final.

 

Thus he will become the first rider to compete on two different horses within one discipline at the single Olympics since Paris 1900.

Yes, no substitution penalties in dressage and jumping.
