It's worth noting that even professionals didn't understand the rule up to the end. French TV commentators were still about this "best asian" thing during the Iran-Poland game and thought Iran was allready qualified. They didn't understand why Iran players were so happy when they actually won and finally validate their ticket to Rio

Yeah, Canada doesn't have its fate in its own hands, they need Poland to win one more set than China against their respective opponents.

 Best case scenario is that Canada scores 3 points against China and Poland scores 3 points against Australia.
