Is the article online? Do they really say that it is a prediction?

I only saw a tweet posted on another forum and shared it here :p

47 medals, including 17 Gold? I'll take it at once, but I'm afraid we'll struggle to reach fourty.

Stop being dramatic, there are plenty events where Germany is favorite for a medal. 50 medals should be the goal.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

37 medals for Pays-Bas/Netherlands is a bit optimistic. Netherlands has never won more than 25 medals at an OG (2000 Sydney).  Is Netherlands really good at all the new mixed events? :p

Yes, but results in 1996 or 2012 or 2016 don't say that much about 2020 :p

So it's not a prediction...just another medal count almost identical to this thread.

It did restart a discussion :d

Agreed. For all we know, Haiti may top the Tokyo medal table. :)

Yay, the first nonsense prediction based on nothing but world championships results of the past two years :cheer:

From L'Èquipe so in French, but surely that's not so difficult with a bit of basic language knowledge (or google).

Is this only for the top 10 or is available somewhere also the rest of the table ?

I'm not dramatic at all, especially not 1,5 years before the Games even begin.. I just think that it's more realistic this time.

To begin with, if this is a projection they have probably counted the medals won by Kristina Vogel
