Veronika Velez-Zuzulová injured gravely ligament in her right knee in Argentina and her last careers season is now seriously uncertain and our last medal chance as well

she stated today, that she is actually flying back home to Europe and will be examined by one top Austrian physiotherapist, and we will know more, for now it´s already sure that she will have to miss the first seasons world cup slaloms in Levi and Killington in November.

I really hope it will not be so grave and she will have the chance to compete her last careers race and complete her fantastic career in PyeongChang :fingers:

Get well soon Veronika

    • It's been impressive seeing Portugal going from not qualifying for 18 years to hanging and beating some of the top nations.   Let's see if this becomes more than just a second golden age.
    • Amazing see some new Latin NOCs in the pack! Vamos Portugal and Brazil
    • Incredible match today, for the first time ever Portugal is qualified for a world cup quarterfinals, with group opponents such as Norway, Sweden and Spain (did we ever won Spain before? Don’t think so) and still undefeated!   whatever happens this has been the most incredible tournament ever for Portugal. And they still are not headlines in the sporting news at home!!! Let’s hope for tomorrow’s newspapers because today’s win was historical!   Im also double happy for the jointed qualification of the Portuguese speaking nations: vamos Brazil!    has small hope for Cape Verde against Argentina but I knew it would be super difficult
