Money talks and pro sports is business. The days of Karl Schranz and Ingemar Stenmark being banned because they were "professionals" are long gone. Sport is a monster money maker. Even USA finally legalised sports gambling after decades of ethical opposition. You cannot stop the power of money in this world.

Bianca Andreescu has withdrawn from Australian Open 2022. Well, a lot of fancy wording about "inspiring people off court" (like really?) but maybe she isn't vaccinated and that's the only reason behind her decision?

Serena Williams will not play in Australian Open 2022 as she still recovers from injury. Obviously old age is a factor too
