Dylan Groenewegen had the highest speed in the sprint yesterday, this graph shows how good he actually is....his positioning sucks and he has no serious 'train' whatsoever which meant he was way behind with 500m to go, but in the last 700m he had a consideribly higher speed than Kittel and EBH at every moment, including an average of over 70km/h in the last 500m :yikes:  (which showed after the finish, when he was absolutely gasping for air like never before)

If he'd ride for a good team and his positioning would get better, he would be quite hard to beat.

I hope you know that that's nonsense?

It's hard to believe that someone who apparently watches all stages in full could be so clueless ...

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

What a stage yesterday....Manuele Mori screaming in pain, Robert Gesink DNF again with bad luck (when in great shape, this sucks so bad), Thomas out, one of Froome's main contenders out with Richie Porte after that horrible crash...Majka likely to be out or at least not in contention for a top-10 anymore..

The most annoying is Demare's day: he had to let go after literally around 200m and with his illness it was very clear that he would not make the time limit, no chance. Yet FDJ let Delage and Konovalovas ride with him all day, and Guarnieri later joined them, resulting in all four of them being out and FDJ losing half their team because of such a stupid decision..

Oh and Barguil thinking he won, only to discover it was actually Uran who won the sprint (which is quite impressive since Uran only had two gears left: small and big :d )

and no more Slovaks this year..since Juraj missed with Demare yesterdays Time limit :(

Like they predicted on TV here: without Peter, Juraj would have a very hard time getting to the finish..

Lotto-Soudal and Katusha doing all kinds of work in the lead all day today, fantastic work for yet another 3rd or 4th place or something for Greipel and Kristoff. Apparently all sprint teams want Kittel to win again.

    • But it seems to us that Norway wasn't as strong in Lillehammer 1994 as it was later? And not just in women's events. Generally, until 2000, Norway was much weaker in women's biathlon and women`s cross-country skiing. I remember in the 1990s, Italy's biggest rivals, Belmondo and di Centa, were Russia, when Norway somewhere further back and only in the classic style. Bente Martinsen- Skari, this is their first really strong girl in cross country, just about 2000, just like Liv Grete Skielbreid- Pioree in women`s biathlon at similar times.   Do you think, that is there any hope that thanks to the popularity of Haaland and football in general in Norway in recent years, winter sports such as biathlon or cross-country skiing will lose a little bit, becouse that?

    • This suggestion  @Dnl  made some months ago has also been implemented.   In each club, I have added a "Milano Cortina 2026 Qualification Tracker" record which takes the content from the Qualification by Nation tracker of that NOC.   People who see it can not edit the content, but it will be automatically updated once @Matej will update the record, and if you notice any mistake feel free to report it to Matej or in the record itself.   Club's admins can now edit the name of the section into their own language or change the spelling, I have used "Milano Cortina 2026 Qualification Tracker" for all the clubs. To do so, go inside the section, then click on "Manage Club"-"Edit this database Record" and change the name of the section:     By the way, if you are not a club's admin but you would like to edit things inside the club just let me know and I will give you the rights to do so. There can be more "admins" inside the club with the rights to edit and organize the sections, and that's not a role that require time or commitment.   Let's try to make all the clubs active during MiCo and when the LA28 qualifications will start!
