heywoodu 13,570 Posted December 22, 2020 #14 Share Posted December 22, 2020 South African Cameron Carolissen got a bye into the second round due to Kleermaker's positive test and Josh Payne (first reserve) having been in contact with a person who tested positive. Now he's playing 25th ranked Danny Noppert and Noppert is playing....absolutely terrible Carolissen has already won the first five legs before Noppert finally won one (because Carolissen missed a dart for the set). Wow. justony 444 Posted December 23, 2020 #15 Share Posted December 23, 2020 Too bad both Cross and Van Duijenbode could not make through, nice match. And I think it is first time that two former World Champions ended on same day.
heywoodu 13,570 Posted December 23, 2020 #16 Share Posted December 23, 2020 The decade-long Dutch commentator (the one on the left) is sharp and trained in his routine in between legs, making sure the snacks don't burn If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! They have breaks when there is no action on the podium (like the breaks between sets), because that's when we switch to the host and his guests in the studio (in which the commentators are as well in their own corner) If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Federer91 2,154 Posted December 23, 2020 #19 Share Posted December 23, 2020 Oh man, Waites blew the win away.. Such a pity That checkout of Bull-25-Bull was out of this world to get a 2:1 lead in the last set and then completely lost the plot..
heywoodu 13,570 Posted December 24, 2020 #20 Share Posted December 24, 2020 And then Jason Lowe of all places beat Michael Smith. Fair play to Lowe, he played excellent and it definitely wasn't just because Smith didn't really turn up, but man...he beat the 4th ranked player and still there was not a single sign of any emotion. It can hardly get any more...dull. justony 1 If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated!
