Top speed for world record holder Simone Origone in qualifying for the speed skiing world championships yesterday:

Far away from the world record though, probably because the top of the track is unavailable due to some avalanche problems. Next week's Speed Masters, considered a world record attempt, has been cancelled for the same reason.

Nicole Schmidhofer went for 200km/h in her speed skiing debut and got to 199.7 yesterday. Today in the semi's, she obliterated her goal

This is one of the few mixed events I’d love to see in the Olympics. I mean imagine @heywoodu and Bruna bringing glory home for Brazil
