Oh and where can we find results of the arm wrestling? I'm not sure about going through approximately 200 hours (60+ videos of often more than 3 hours) to see if there's some Dutch participant :d

I would imagine that you could find them on the World Armwrestling Federation’s website. Use GAISF to find thier website and look thier. The Paralympics have considered adding it to thier games. It has not received IOC recognition as of yet.

Para-armwrestling, is that basically just stare into each other's eyes until one gives up?

That sounds cool. And urban. Staring contest should join Olympic family soon.

Also some incredibly urban activity I thought of recently is a timed competition in message texting. Imagine the crowds!!

@OlympicIRL Is racquetball a well established sport in Ireland? Because you have a young player doing rather well on the first day of the junior world championships.

I take note of any player not from the America’s who does well, since the sport is dominated by the Americas at the international level.

I honestly don't know a lot about it but I can tell you that squash is at a decent level here and we have our own GAA handball which is like squash and racquetball, but you use the hand as your racquet. So I guess there will be some cross-over between all of those. Thanks for the news, let me know how he gets on :)
