I knew this will happen, Petra is not training (or rather to say has very limited amount of trainings) slaloms anymore in last weeks, it is already shocking she was able to finish 4th here, just like in Semmering, she definitely missed her slalom mojo. Now, the question is, it is realy so important to fight for the wole globe, or rather return to focus on her strongest SL & GS events, where she can with better focus actually win something. Now, she cearly is losing too much against her opponents..

Well In the Total Score I think her only rival will be Gisin or maybe Goggia. And if she is still in Slalom and Giant Slalom In front of them everything is fine. In my opinion Pinturault looses to much points in Slaloms. There are no Giant Slaloms until the Championships, so not many points for him, while Kilde got 5 Speed Events so possible around 400 points.

we´ll see. Big globe is certainly a very atractive and prestigious prize, no slovak athlete has won yet in any winter sport in history, so would be definitely a huge thing if it will happen.

I still just hope she will not focus on the big globe and concentrate more in the next 2021/22 season on GS and SL, remember a Olympic gold (or any other medal) in Alpine Skiing is also something any athlete from our country never achieved so far even in the former TCH era, and who knows when such chance will occure again

    • I’ve had 2weeks long Olympic holidays each time since i graduated from the university in ancient times of year 2003   Both winter and summer. Always.   i had those olympic holidays in every job contract 😉
    • For sure better for  one silver - I think it was Shelly Rudman, Skeleton.  Can definitely improve on that.   Still remember it as a good games, though - think it was the first time I took two weeks off work to watch a Winter Games.

    • As a Montreal Canadien fan, I am in agreement. However, he is struggling recently and is demoted to the 4th line this week. Hoping he can turn it around.
    • I read now that Valentina Rodini will be in the new team of Tizzano + Galtarossa and Martini. I was probably in such an information bubble on Instagram that I thought that only Abbagnale was running a campaign and had a team of people around him. That's why I was surprised by his defeat + the fact that, for example, Rodini supports his rival. But as I wrote, for me the change in the general coach position is a plus. We need a new opening and a new impulse: Cattaneo had his best results in Tokyo and then he only explained that his rowers were running away abroad to the USA to study and that's why he had worse results. Ok, except that it's the same in Romania and Greece but they results are comparable or better. It's obvious that no one here will make the UK or the Netherlands, because we don't have such resources and money but I think we can repeat the Romanian results (2 gold - 3 silver in Paris) and that will be a much better result than the 2 silver in this year.
